Experience is not what happens to you. It's what you do with what happens to you.

artist statement
I am attracted to natural elements - plants their structure and patterns - their life cycle and how they change from seed to old age. I am curious about the choices we make that are intuitive and come from our senses. I'm interested in people and place - the interaction - the relationships of these ideas and the environment surrounding places of experience. I find it important to experience the nuance of a moment and being aware of it as it is happening. The images that I choose to use come from array of experience that starts to overlap as the understanding starts to mesh. I see the images as symbols that represent an abstraction of thought and an attraction to a visual dialogue. Breathing in the light.
