Dawning Art the Gift features original art and handmade gifts, including paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass art, jewelry, inlaid jewelry boxes made from domestic and exotic wood, prints on paper, and woven fabric wall hangings. Gift items such as handmade cards, candles, and soap are also available.
Artist and gallery owner Kim Marie Pruitt hosts art shows, holds art classes, and coordinates the town gallery walk, which takes place every third Saturday.
A number of artists are represented at the gallery, including Andrea A. Peterson, Jon Hook, Rick VanLangevelde, Becky Weltzin, and Danielle Engwert.
